Dr. Ross serves as the Director of the Center for Creation Studies and is a Professor of Geology at Liberty University. He was featured in the recent film, Is Genesis History?” He will be presenting “Noah’s Ark: Where Scripture Meets Geology
Dr. Kirk Durston – M.A. (Philosophy), University of Manitoba; Ph.D. Biophysics, University of Guelph,
Dr. Durston is an apologist with Power2Change and spends his time writing and speaking about the interaction of science, theology and philosophy within the context of authentic Christianity. He will be presenting Can We Trust Science? (The Corrupting Influence of Scientism)
Gary Byers – M.C.E. Liberty University; M.A., Baltimore Hebrew University (Thesis subject: Domestic Architecture in Iron Age I Palestine); PhD candidate, Trinity Southwest University.
Gary is an archaeologist with Associates for Biblical Research (biblearchaeology.org). He was part of the excavation staff at Khirbet Nisya, Israel (1993-1994) and Tel Miqne (Ekron), Israel (1984), an was the Administrative Director at Khirbet al-Maqatir, Israel (1995-2016). He currently serves as Senior Archaeologist at Tall el-Hammam, Jordan (2006-present) and at Tel Shiloh, Israel (2017-present). He is an Adjunct Professor at Faith Theological Seminary, Towson, MD (2013-present) and is on the Board of Directors of the Near East Archaeological Society (2000-present).Gary will be presenting Archaeology and the Historical Reliability of Scripture.
Logan Gates M.Th, University of Oxford, as well as two years of study at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics.
Logan is an apologist with RZIM (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries), Canada. He’ll be giving two presentations: Why I trust the Bible and The Accuracy of the Gospels.
Dr. John Marriott – M.A., Biola University; M.A. (Philosophy of Religion), Talbot School of Theology; Ph.D. (Intercultural Studies), The Cook School of Intercultural Studies. His dissertation focused on de-conversion from Christianity to atheism.
John serves in the Philosophy of Religion and Ethics department at Biola University and also in the Institute for Religious Studies at Missional University. He’ll be giving two presentations: Why I Don’t Always Trust My Feelings, and Why People De-convert & What The Church Can Do About It?
